Coalition heading for a Brick Wall... whilst Newspaperboy Heads for Garage
If we don't have a new Government (of any colour, style or party) by next April then I'm a Banana! Not really an original thought, the little chap from Private Eye said it first, but as the utilities are already softening us all up by promising price rises of 15% to 20%, the increasing number of povertyline old age pensioners who will be carried out of their freezing homes in coffins this Winter will also put the lid on this Coalition.
Don't get me wrong, in the circumstances Cameron and Co have done a reasonable job but they just don't connect with the man in the street. Sitting on piles of private family wealth and sporting deep sun tans (Clegg excepted), how on earth can they be expected to?
The Sunday Times Rich List shows the upper quartile getting richer and now in a position to cherry pick the best properties ready for the time when the market shoots back up. My neighbour just moving a few hundred yards away, to a larger property, had a confirmed mortgage offer on the table within AN HOUR! Still think he shoud wait a few months when property will have dropped by another 25% but there again as he rightly points out that particular property may well have gone.
The banksters continue to live on the Planet ZOG, HSBC says it aims to shave costs by up to $3.5 bn in three years.... why wait until now? The good news is that the self important spinner for the banksters,, former MP. Angela Knight of the BBA ( a sort of trade association for banksters, paid for ultimately by us customers) may well be seeking pastures new. Not a moment too soon!
Throughout the Loan Payment Protection misselling campaign she LIED through her well veneered back teeth and then got Tony Blairs ex spinner in to do it for her! Her team rubbishing all contra viewpoints.
We have a Magimix, known as the Nationwide Magimix as we purchased it from the part of the proceeds of our two actions against the same named building society, but in the end everyone lost and some old dears just do not have the will or resource to fight the big bad Utility batallions, now they face the prospect of fearing to turn on the lightswitch or the gasfire as it will gobble what little savings they have left. As every well suntanned MP and MEP takes the stand, they might care to take this into consideration.
Local Peterborough City MP Stewart Jackson will cheerfully hike up his MP expenses year on year by some £1,200, he has so far so why stop now? The coalition if it is to survive has to get a grip on Energy prices (the clue is in the tax margin) and consider wholesale nationalisation of the Utilities (gawd, never ever thought I would say that!)
Still what does give me some hope is that my highly reliable hard working newspaper delivery boy, who no matter what the weather chucks at him, has faithfully delivered my stack of newspapers fo several years now. He has a passion for all things mechanical, applied with his school produced CV to several local garages to be taken on as an apprentice. WITHIN 10 MINUTES he was snapped up and will now attend College for one day a week, whilst working for the Garage for the other four. Hey Sir Sugar, a new programme idea right here! TRUE APPRENTICE.
The little chap comes from a family that has its own set of problems. When some junior vandal slashed his cycle tyres, he had to spend the money he'd carefully saved for his school mechanics overalls, on new cycle tyres or he couldn't carry on with his paper round. NO overalls, and he'd be excluded from the mechanics classes. I approached every car manufacturer in the UK to see if we could get him some donated, cast offs would have done. All refused. I then tried Twitter and within hours The American Ford Motor Company through their twitter tzar @ScottMonty had a set of 'American Ford Tough' Auto mechanics Coveralls Fedexed to the UK.
The coveralls are still doing great service, although well stained and a few cuts in the fabric, but Ford America have by a simple act of over-the-pond kindness, motivated one of our future generation to do good things and now it is being recognised. That Mr Cameron is how to connect with the man on the street as he will still in 30 years be paying off the debt left to the nation by Angela Knight and her 'bankster' cronies....they will of course have moved celestially on. Some may move up, the majority probably down....no need for fake tan either....ouch way too hot!
