Two people are dead, after a light aircraft, later confirmed by police as a Beechcraft King Air 200, which had earlier taken off from Stapleford Aerodrome, crashed in Chigwell, Essex this morning.

Essex Fire and Rescue Service says it was called at 10.23am today to reports of a plane "100 percent alight" at a location off Millers Lane and Gravel Lane, just south of Abridge, Chigwell, Essex.
A statement released by the emergency services said: "As far as the details are concerned, it's a crash involving a light aircraft.
"Upon arrival it was 100 per cent alight. Crews in breathing apparatus used hose reel jets."
An East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust spokesman said: In addition to an air ambulance, we sent an ambulance crew, rapid response vehicle, two ambulance officers and a hazardous area response team.
