|The retail drones big brother.. the lethal military UAV..|
This incident report says it almost hit the Airbus A319 as it was preparing to land on 9 July this year.
The Airprox report is no less scathing "A larger aircraft might not have missed it, and in the captain's opinion it had put 130 lives at risk."
Industry research suggests that drones can smash plane windscreens, and if injected into engine air turbine fans, possibly catastrophic.
To add to official concerns, a new report for Deutsche Telecom surveying some 2,000 plus British workers claims that 50 percent of millennials - those aged between 25 and 34 - rated themselves as 'very knowledgeable' about 'cybersecurity' but when pressed revealed they engaged in high-risk activity such as using work devices on insecure home or public Wi-Fi networks and less likely to change their passwords on a regular basis....
Put simply according the report author Scott Cairns: "They may be expert at using devices, but few know what actually happens beneath the hood."
